Kefi is created for all users of the Vanderbilt Campus. As the campus has a wide variety of users with varying goals, the project will engage multiple members of the campus community to fulfill each art installation. Each installation becomes more than art but a synthesis of ideas and a symbol of creative partnerships.

What is Kefi?
The term kefi (or in Greek κέφι) roughly translates to mean the spirit of joy, passion, enthusiasm and high spirits that comes from living. We simply think it means the joy of life.
Vision
The organization is composed of Vanderbilt undergraduate students who will work in conjunction with members of the university to create 10 temporary public art pieces of varying size. Each installation will have an event component and be done with a partner organization.
The direction of the organization will be determined by the desires and abilities of the membership group and will not be limited to the 10 primary projects.
